I Guess Kanye Is Finally Getting his Street Cred -- He's Charged in Airport Tantrum

I guess another Black male rapper has drank the Kool Aid...Damn Kanye.

Now Kanye can get that street cred that he's been searching for to take him over the hump, unless he get's humped first in jail. From what I've been seeing lately, he MIGHT LIKE getting humped in jail.

Man, I feel sorry for dude. Before his mom passed, you would say, "DANG! Kanye is an spoiled brat!" or "DANG! Kanye is an ass!" and even "DANG! Kanye is weird as hell!" But now, you look at him with the "dudes" he hangs around and hear him make dumb comments about NOT begin gay and you think "DANG! This N*GG$ done lost his MU-PHUKEN MIND!!!"

I hopes the stripper he's dating now can get him tight, so to speak...no pun intended in case he IS gay.

From CNN.com...

Rapper Kanye West and his business manager face vandalism, battery and grand theft charges in connection with a scuffle with photographers at Los Angeles International Airport last September.

Rapper Kanye West has been charged after an incident last year involving two
photographers.

The Los Angeles County district attorney declined to file felony charges, but L.A. City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo decided to charge West, 31, and Don Crawley, 33, with misdemeanors Wednesday.Police arrested West on September 11, 2008, after an altercation with two paparazzi, airport police said. The incident, which took place near the airport's Terminal 4, occurred between the rap star and Crawley -- his road manager and bodyguard -- and a photographer and a cameraman who were taking their photos, airport police said.

The cameras of the paparazzi were damaged in the altercation, police
said.
West was charged with one count of vandalism, one count of
grand theft and one count of battery, according to Frank Mateljan, the spokesman
for the city attorney.

Crawley was charged with two counts of vandalism, two counts of grand theft and two counts of battery, Mateljan said.
If convicted of all charges, West could face up to two years and six months in jail, while Crawley could face up to five years, he said.

Their arraignment hearing is set for April 14 at the Los Angeles Airport Courthouse, he said. West, a 10-time Grammy winner, and Crawley were in the airport to catch a flight to Honolulu, Hawaii, police said. The pair were outside of passenger security
screening when the incident occurred.

CNN could not immediately reach the star's publicist for comment.
The celebrity Web site TMZ posted a video of the incident shot by one of its reporters, who was also in the terminal when the altercation occurred.
The video was short and chaotic, and the man whom TMZ
identifies as West never shows his face, which is shrouded in the hood of a gray
sweatshirt.

According to the Web site, after West grabbed the camera from the photographer, Crawley took it from him, leaving the rap star with the lighting component.

The video shows the man in the gray sweatshirt and another man in a red sweatshirt -- whom TMZ identifies as Crawley -- each smashing parts of a camera on the ground.

Then the man in red approaches the camera as it is filming. He reaches out for the
camera, and it appears a struggle ensues. As airport officials arrive, the man
walks off.

TMZ reported that after the incident with the first photographer, Crawley grabbed the TMZ reporter's camera and allegedly broke it.

Police stopped West and Crawley as they tried to leave to go through security to board the plane, the Web site said. TMZ is partly owned by AOL, part of CNN's
parent company, Time Warner.

West quickly became a hip-hop star after his first album, "College Dropout," debuted in 2004, earning him a best rap album Grammy that year. He twice matched that feat with 2005's "Late Registration" and 2007's "Graduation."
West also has won three best rap song Grammys for his hits "Jesus Walks," "Diamonds from Sierra Leone" and "Good Life." His other four Grammys include two best rap solo performance awards, one for best rap performance by a duo or group, and one for best R&B song for his role in helping write "You Don't Know My Name," a song performed by Alicia Keys.

The platinum rapper is also known for controversial outbursts, most
notably in 2005, when he went off script during an NBC telethon for victims of Hurricane Katrina, saying, "George Bush doesn't care about black people."

Jay Z's Got His Hands in Everything...and it's MARVELOUS!

I tell you, as much as the media wants to put down rap artists, alot of them are actually doing big things. Not just Jay, but others who have shown the way to legit business outside of hip hop. And the funny thing is, even though they (hip hop/R&B artists) are at the top of the entertainment earnings list every year, they still don't seem to get the same amount of respect from the business world. Makes you wonder, don't it!

Michael Jackson is STILL the King!

Even if his hands still smell like baby booty, MICHAEL JACKSON IS STILL THE KING OF POP! And don't you B*TCHES forget it!

He sold 750,000 tickets in only 4 hours!!!!!! Here's how CNN reports it:

LONDON, England (CNN) -- Tickets for Michael Jackson's 50 "final curtain call"
concerts in London sold out in little over four hours Friday.

Michael Jackson has sold out 50 concerts at London's O2 Arena.

The tickets went on sale at 7 a.m., with fans queuing since Wednesday.
They were limited to four tickets per household at a cost of up to $105 for
general admission. VIP tickets cost up to $1,100. Around 750,000 were sold.

Tickets have already appeared online for resale, with one person seeking
$35,000 for VIP tickets to the opening show on July 8.

Jackson originally announced he would do 10 shows at London's 20,000-capacity 02 Arena, but huge demand has seen a further 40 dates added. The king of pop's run is now
scheduled to finish next February.

O2 owners, AEG Live, said due to the "incredible level of interest" --
pre-sale tickets to 10 concerts offered on Thursday sold out within minutes --
Jackson had agreed to add the extra dates.

Chris Edmonds, Ticketmaster's managing director, said they "had witnessed an unprecedented level of demand" for the concerts.

Ayesha Obi was the first in line at the O2 to get a ticket and was in tears.

"I was hoping to just get the opening night. Any good seats would've been fantastic. But front row? I'm over the moon. I'm very happy. Very proud. Really pleased."

She had been at the venue since Wednesday night but said it was worth it.

"I've always wanted to see him perform live. I'm happy he's given us that opportunity now.

"He's a legend despite all the controversy in his past."

Gennaro Castaldo, spokesman for UK music retailer HMV, said Jackson was already reaping the benefits of hosting the concerts.

"Sales of Michael's albums are starting to show a discernible increase, albeit from a
relatively low sales base at this early stage. However, if demand is picking up now, imagine what it will be like in July, when Michael actually kicks off his live performances."

Castaldo said sales of his "King Of Pop" album released in August had increased four-fold, while sales of "Thriller" had nearly doubled.

Jackson, a child star with the Jackson Five who went on to enjoy stellar solo success with classic albums such as "Thriller" and "Bad," has rarely been seen in public since he was acquitted on child molestation charges in the U.S. in 2005. Timeline gallery of the highs and lows of Jackson's life »

Rumors of financial difficulties and health problems -- in 2008 he was photographed being pushed in a wheelchair -- have swirled around the famously eccentric star in recent years.

Last year he sold his iconic Neverland ranch and he has spent much of his time since his acquittal living in Bahrain.

The auction house, Julien's, is selling Jackson's Neverland property
including the gates, the singer's famed white-jeweled glove and a stretched
Rolls Royce.

Jackson hasn't recorded a studio album since "Invincible" -- his 10th solo record -- in
2001. His last major series of concerts was a world tour to promote the "HIStory" album in 1996 and 1997.

"Thriller," released in 1982 and containing classic Jackson hits such as "Beat It," "Billie Jean" and the title track, is the best-selling album of all time. Jackson is estimated to have sold more than 750 million albums in total.

It ain't funny, but it's funny...The Breakfast Song

The guy who is in the video passed away in 2004 from congenital heart disease, but I am sure he didn't intend on this to be one of the funniest videos EVER! He looks SUPER SERIOUS...and that make me alittle sad cause I know he really wanted to help people with this song.

God bless him. But it's still funny!
